We took the Ferry from P.E.I. To Novo Scotia.
We were about an hour into our 2 1/2 hour ride to our campground when we hit a big bump with no advance notice. Pat noticed right away that the emergency brake light came on as well as the ABS light. We were very fortunate to get off at the next exit and found a Dodge dealership that had a service department. The technician saw that the ABS wire had hit the exhaust pipe when we hit the big bump and had burned off . We were so thankful to have it replaced and about an 1 1/2 later we were back on the road again.
We are planning to have our campsite be our home base over the next few days as we explore the top of Nova Scotia, called Cape Breton Island. Tomorrow we are going to follow the Cabot Trail.
